Stephen R. Patterson, born August 30, 1949, in Tyler, Texas, attended Baylor University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1971. Mr. Patterson earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1975. While a senior in Law School, he clerked in the Lubbock Regional Office of the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Gregg County Bar Association, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and Defense Research Institute, and is a Life Fellow in the Texas Bar Foundation. He is admited to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Texas and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.
